Take one part of sugar and 4 parts of water, boil the water, stir in the sugar, but don’t add dye, because some of them are toxic to these creatures. Honey and bee pollen are not recommended. For protein these creatures catch insects.

The natural diet of these little creatures consists of nectar, but in captivity they cannot live on the sugar solution only, because they require also a lot of vitamins and minerals.
