These creatures are not suitable for captive living, because they are very active and require special care. In the wild they feed on nectar from the flowers and require a lot of plants to gather enough nectar. It is impossible to keep them in a cage. When you buy birds, ask about care for the aviaries and make sure the breeder willingly answers the questions.
